The Irish American Club of Mid-Michigan exists to advance and celebrate things Irish through active, joyful promotion of the culture of the Irish and their descendants.

We meet this goal by providing:

  • Monthly membership meetings are at 7:00 pm on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May.  Meeting places vary, so call 800-743-9457 for the location of the next meeting.

  • On the Tuesdays we don't have the social meeting or board meeting, we play darts at the Irish Pub, on West Saginaw in Lansing, MI.  Folks gather at about 6:00 pm for dinner, and darts start about 7:00 pm.  Join us anytime.  The only prize for winning at darts is bragging rights for the week, which is a valuable prize indeed!

  • Irish Language classes begin Monday, October 26 at Letts Community Center at 6:45 pm

  • The Irish History discussion group will begin Monday, November 9 also at Letts at 7:45.

For the history discussion group we have opted for the book "Irish Freedom: The History of Nationalism in Ireland" by Dr . Richard English, a Professor from Queens University, Belfast, which can be ordered on Amazon. com and perhaps may be available in Barnes & Noble.

  • Club members from time to time go to live rugby broadcasts, concerts and other events.  E-mail the club for more information.
